Given what constantly vies for our attention (or ‘steals’ the magic of our focus, and thus our energy along with it), it’s important to reconnect again and again with the ‘underground streams’ of authentic vision and true inspiration.
I was intuitively guided to track down this Sophia’s Children post, update it, and re-feature it today.
The Wise Ones of many traditions, ancient and now, say that the reality we’re living in is the result of a collective dream … or persistently and commonly held vision.
May we reconnect with the magic of heartful, Wisdom-inspired vision for our own, and our collectively held, ‘reality’ that honors and respects the dignity of all beings.

It’s true: Living without a horizon is more than a distraction, really, though distraction does come into play.
It’s more like being stuck in thick mud or quicksand that’s sucking the very lifeforce out of us.
There are times and circumstances that close in on us and distract us from the horizon by calling so much of our attention and energy to the mire that we, for a time, feel devoid of vision, and with it, purpose, and direction.
Sometimes we’re just in between visions — the previous one, having found expression, has grown old and the life created from it dies; but the new vision and the life it seeds, orients, and animates hasn’t yet taken…
