“Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won’t either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up.
And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left, or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasting their sweetness. Tell yourself you tasted as many as you could.”
~ Louise Erdrich, Poet, Author; The Painted Drum LP; Proprietor of Birchbark Books in Minneapolis, MN.

Jamie, How did I miss this? It’s uncanny how I randomly fall upon the perfect post at the perfect time … sometimes with other blogs, but always with yours. Truly, you have quite an impressive Spirit Team working with you!

Oh, the Sophia’s Children well is deep, Mo. 😉
I’m glad it’s the case that when you come swimming in these waters, you land on ‘the perfect post at the perfect time’. So wonderful to know that’s the case!
And the Muse and my Spirit Team do tend to keep at me, but it’s nice to know that others are well-served by it.
Hoping that you’re well! Love, Jamie
