“It follows that now is the time for yielding justice, for foolish forgiveness, for outrageous generosity, for elaborate hospitality.
None of these acts can come from fear, anxiety, or despair. But they are all acts that evoke new futures that the fearful think are impossible.
Hope in the end is a contradiction of the dominant version of reality … The convergence of holy resolve and human risk-taking does indeed generate an alternative reality.”

Oh yeah, now that’s good medicine for the moxifully resolved among us.

Yes, but our media, religions and world leader’s are bent on keeping the populace in a state of fear and anxiety, in order to control. Only those who elevate themselves above ‘mass consciousness’ can transform the popular culture and embody those qualities of forgiveness and generosity of spirit. I guess it has been like this from the beginning of civilization, and only its form changes. Idealistically, I’d like to think that we are on the brink of a transformation and a changing of guard, from one of win/lose scenarios to everyone is a winner outcomes. Yet, most do sleep and are but sheep.. baaaa.. this is no lie! Yet, how do we WAKE UP the sheep, when they are too scared to be an individual, to move outside the flock and be true to themselves? I’m all for risk taking and holding big parties! Bring it on!

True enough, Bridget, there is a deep hypnosis going on (and has been for many generations). It’s quite the experiment, isn’t it, and not for the faint-hearted…
