Brigid's Fire at Kildare AbbeyThere’s that old saying, “The proof is in the pudding.”

Riffing on that folk-wisdom saying, my own experience has shown me that “the proof is in the practice,” as well.

Anyone who has practiced anything for any period of time, with any bit of diligence and devotion, will know this.

You can probably point to an area or two in your own experience, too, yes?

Me, too.

As my Qigong Grandmaster would affirm, ‘cultivating’ (energy, and quality of energy) can shift things from what they otherwise might have been.

That devoted, consistent practice also builds up a kind of ‘reservoir’ of energy, capacity, skillfulness, gravitas, and response-ability — super-handy all the time, and particularly when the proverbial IT hits the proverbial fan.

A straight-route to that wellspring (or, if you prefer the Fire metaphor, like the Divine Spark or hearth-center of the ‘eternal flame’ tended, devotedly, by the priestesses of old).

Most recently — once again — I’ve had renewed cause to appreciate both my most trusted and appreciated teachers, and my own diligence and devotion to the practice, to showing up and doing it.

I wrote about my recent ‘adventure’ with a toxic-bully/power-abuser-turned-threatening-stalker in this post: The Threat at My Door and Wild Grace Arising.

I’ll have more new bits to weave into my writings soon, so stay tuned.

But bottom line?

The Practice Proved Itself … again.

Tangible effects, even under Crazy Wild Harm-Threatening Circumstances and their aftermath.

Now for The Water Wisdom …

Yeah, I know … two posts combined into one, but we can do that in our Muse Spaces, when the Muse wants to flow that way.

Over the last few months, “Flow Like Water” and “Love Flows Like Water” kept arising, again and again and again, into my awareness.

Beautiful. Poetic.

You can feel the gracefulness of that, can’t you? If you sit with it, let it speak in you, you will.

Then last week, as I continue to navigate the effects of the Solstice Night threat and its after-shocks, and navigate towards standing up to the Bully-Stalker, formally, I received the Water Wisdom message again.

Posted on someone’s fridge.

Seriously, the messages from higher self, the Divine, Spirit, come in so many ways when we have the eyes to see and the present moment attention required.

Here’s the Water Wisdom ‘Fridge’ Message:

“Water does not resist. Water flows. When you plunge your hand into it, all you feel is a caress. Water is not a solid wall, it will not stop you. But water always goes where it wants to go, and nothing in the end can stand against it. Water is patient. Dripping water wears away a stone. Remember that, my child. Remember you are half water. If you can’t go through an obstacle, go around it. Water does.”

Those are among the Wisdom Arts & Skills, and that’s why we devote to remembering and cultivating them.

(And that’s why I’m opening a new circle for my Wise Guide Apprenticeship & Coachingfind more about that here.)

So ….

May we each more and more gracefully flow like Water.

May the Love that we are bubble up in us, fill us, overflow from us … and flow like water in the desert, bringing new fertility, flowering, wherever our blessing-presence might flow.

You’ll find some updated Special Offerings for cultivating your unique ‘medicine’ and being that more and more confidently here.

I’ll be tweaking that ‘Special Offering’ more and more as the Muse speaks about what flows through me, but you’ll get the gist. 🙂

Big Love (flowing to you like Water), Be Well, and More Soon.

Jamie
